There are not many Zantigos in the Twin Cities, so when I see one, I have to stop. I always find dependable and reliable food here. My favorite is the hot chilitos. But even the chips and salsa are good, better than many restaurants that you sit down and get served chips. The Zantigos in Woodbury I frequent the most, and find it always clean, fast, and well prepared.
I grew up with Zantigo in the late 70s growing up in Ohio. I remember when they changed to Zapatta in Minnesota, the turned back to Zantigo. Few things have changed, but their Green chili and cheese burritos; as well as the bowls you can buy are fantastic, the chilitos and tacos have a great variety. I love this place. Oh, staff is super friendly in Woodbury MN.

Antoine is super friendly guy. Talks to all the customers! I am a picky eater, and my order is somewhat high maintenance... & he is totally cool about it. I have been coming to this location for years and he is my favorite FOH guy so far. As I’m standing here he is helping out BOH catch up & saying hi to everyone that walks in letting them know he’ll be with them momentarily. If I owned a restaurant I’d totally poach this guy for myself.
Hands down best fast food "taco" place. It's not close. The HOT CHILITO is the best item on the menu. And their tortillas are awesome!
Zantigo is a classic tex mex restaurant that's thankfully back
Was greeted with a smile, the woman that took my order was polite and well-spoken with a bit of friendly chit-chat. Told me my order number and promptly thanked me for the order. My food was ready in minutes. Ordered three Chilitos because you can't go to Zantigo without getting Chilitos. They were fresh, hot, perfectly melted, and loaded with the chili sauce and cheese - as good as they've ever been! All the tables were clean, so I took the nearest one to sit and enjoy my wonderful meal. I remembered to place another order for a 12-pack to go - the secret is to order them UNcooked so you can keep some in the fridge or freezer to save for later! When they were ready, the gal at the front counter (sorry, I wish I had paid more attention to her name for proper credit!) brought the bag of goodies to my table and again thanked me for the order. Thank you, Zantigo for yet another wonderful experience and great food!
Zantigo is the place for a quick Ameri-Mexi lunch in Woodbury! With friendly service from Shikki, the whole team and the new gal, it is always a tasty, cost friendly lunch! Green chili burritos and bean and cheese burritos along with a hardshell taco can't be beat! Wear the merchandise and everyone in town gets the munchies! Love Zantigo! Thanks all!
